The objective for this project is visually represent a simple and useful object through the lens of each of the 7 Creative Strategies: Combination, Juxtaposition, Isolation, Metaphor or Simile, Change of Context, Shape Similarity, and Material Change.
Combination: Bring together two different and unrelated objects to create a new one.
Juxtaposition: Show the differences between two things rather than their similarities.
Isolation: Focus on an element in a composition by separating it visually from the context or other objects.
Metaphor or Simile: Focus on the meaning of the image created with your object as it relates to something else.
Change of context: Contrasts objects with uncommon environments to highlight a concept or communicate an idea.
Shape Similarity: Use physical similarities to showcase connections between objects that normally don’t connect.
Material Change: Swap a material property that we are accustomed to with another.
